The Internal Auditor Certificate in ITSM according to ISO/IEC 20000 is designed to provide practical knowledge of the audit cycle. The course focusses on internal and external audits and is a pre-requisite for the upcoming, higher level Executive Auditor course, which allows candidates to undertake ISO/IEC 20000 certification audits on behalf of accredited certification authorities.

Who Should Attend

The program is aimed at those IT professionals within both internal and external IT service providers in an ISO/IEC 20000 defined role, or having interest in these standards, although their IT- organisation is not (yet) ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 (or ISO/IEC 9001:2008) certified.

The course is especially referring to management and staff of all corporate divisions, particularly quality management officers and individuals interested in performing audits.

Prerequisites

You need to hold the ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation certificate to attend the course and sit the exam, as well as the Associate Consultant/Auditor certificate or the Professional Management and Improvement of ITSM processes certificate and two other professional level certificates.


Certification

Successful candidates obtain the Internal Auditor Certificate in IT Service Management according to ISO/IEC 20000 certificate.

The 105 minute exam comprises of 40 multiple choice questions section and a second section with a further 20 multiple choice questions.

The pass mark is 65% overall, with a minimum of 50% required in both sections of the exam.
